About This Mod
Savegame for winning the Edison achievement at XCOM:EU.
Since many saves and profiles had errors, I decided to set the save with which I got the achievement. I tried many builds, mods and reg/hex editors without success. After many attempts, I finally made the game work with this save.
How to install.
Open the files in the savegame folder. It is usually located in the UsersGeneral folder.
REMEMBER: Back up your previous save.
I used FireHawkX's "Xcom Enemy Within Uber Mod" mod for this; it can be found on NexusMods. Pre-installation is a good idea.
The game to save must be Enemy Unknown, not Enemy Within, and must be in English.
You also need to make sure that the game does not "call home". Disabling Steam cloud saves is also a good idea at this point. (Right-click the game, select Properties, and select Disable Game Saving for XCOM: Keep game saves for Enemy Unknown in the Steam Cloud.)
Once you have unpacked your saved files into a folder, launch the game. South American privileges will be immediately unlocked. That's all you need to do, and achievements will be unlocked immediately.
