TFC Installer for UE2-UE3
About This Mod
This tool is compatible with most Unreal Engine 2/3 games (and their DLC) and currently performs the following functions:
Inserts textures and other modifications through texture packages/game patches (created by UPK Explorer for UE2-UE3)
- Automatically disables SHA checks in some game exe files when a texture package is installed.
- Backs up source UPKs for safe installation and removal of modifications.
- Maintains UPK package compression when you install a texture package, reducing disk space consumption.
- Easily removes modifications at the touch of a button and restores a UPK backup if the user changes his mind.
How to use:
1. Specify the game folder
Example: D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\[YourGame]\
2. Specify the folder with modifications
Open the folder where your modifications are stored. This will be the GameProfile.xml folder. If it is in a zip or rar archive, check it out first.
3. Install the modification
Once you select a modification, it will determine if it affects DLC and which DLC you have installed.
Depending on this, you will have one or more "Upgrade xxx" buttons where xxx is the main game or one of the DLCs. If you want to upgrade your game and all available DLCs, it is recommended that you select Update All.
Restore backup
Use this option to remove certain mods (in reverse order of installation):
Delete All
During installation, the game's source files (in the game folder) will be backed up.
Clicking Remove All returns the game to its original state by removing all texture packages.
Requirements
To use this tool, you must have the .Net runtime 6 installed on your computer.
Note: The mods that require this tool were created using UPK Explorer for UE2-UE3.
