What is OptiScaler?

OptiScaler is an advanced tool that allows you to replace and customize upskilers in games such as DLSS, FSR and XeSS. It also supports Frame Generation (FG), which improves the smoothness of games by generating additional frames, and HUD Fix, which adjusts the visual elements of the interface to avoid overlapping or distortion.

In-game settings (press INSERT to open the mods menu

• Once set up, start the game and use the OptiScaler menu to evaluate the picture quality and smoothness.
• Access the OptiScaler menu by pressing Insert while playing.
• Go to Frame Generation.
• Enable the feature by configuring:
• FG Mode:
• Extended: Provides better capture quality.
• Immediate Capture: Delivers higher performance with less hardware stress.
• FG Debug View:
• Enable this option to visualize Frame Generation behavior and diagnose problems.
• After activation, play for a few minutes to control the smoothness of the image and the results.
• In the OptiScaler menu, find the HUD Fix option.
• Configure the HUD limit (HUD Limit) option to find a value that resolves visual problems in the game.
• Try different values, as the perfect setting can differ for different games. Initial recommendations:
• Lower value for simple interfaces.
• Higher value for games with complex HUD.
• If HUD Fix is causing FG compatibility issues, switch between FG Extended and FG Immediate Capture modes to resolve them.
