About This Mod
Updated TTW patch from Uhmatt's DrivableCars Xorpie: / (needs to be updated to work with 8b) New version 8b 10-21-2024 -Completely remade plugin (still used some old assets and Corvega Coupe scripts removed (hopefully will be returned) -Shopping cart removed (will be returned) -BA-6 removed (may be replaced) -Saladin tank removed (may be returned) -Pioneer removed (obsolete due to Beetle) now, Pioneer removed (obsolete due to Beetle, but may return) -Removed driving companion in the second machine (unstable) -Improved driver positioning. -Significant improvements in targeting combat vehicles. -Killings in combat vehicles now give the player XP -Bradley, LAV and Sherman became faster -LAV and BTR became amphibians -The system of crews is significantly improved (not perfect, but much better) -Horns no longer do anything but noise. Changed the number of seats in some machines - Improved throttle settings (the reversing knob is a by-product). It will also be customized for each car). -Improved cornering behavior (will be adjusted for each car over time). -Improved scripting of purchase objects -Improved headlights -Added a small sound to the headlights button, changed radio stations, changed backward motion -Added several new hidden unique cars -Added new jeeps from GloomyJz car sources -New features Between testing, complete rework of the plugin, and IRL commitments the whole process took about two months, so at the moment everything is forgotten.
Although it is fully functional, it is a demo version of the concept that I put together, extending it separately for other projects so that I can play with it in my next game. Future plans include gas stations, more cars and trucks, damage from hits and collisions, improved engine sounds, boats, possibly planes and other surprises. Feel free to give feedback, the Fallout 3 version is also available, try it out with Traffic 2. CAUTION: Modes with the ability to actively turn on/off the player control can interfere with driving scenarios and cause negative effects when used in a car. An example of this is for Solid Project Weapon Wheel.
