About This Mod
This is not AutoHDR, but a post-processing effect reworking to use all the details and accuracy of the game's internal HDR rendering. The result is incredibly detailed, blow-down reverse tonal solutions such as AutoHDR and RTX HDR HDR; HDR displays are highly recommended, but SDR presets are also available for use with other features. The mod updates and adapts Walheim's stylized appearance to HDR. It will be the game you know and love, but if you want to get something more in line with the HDR specifications, with more detail, brighter highlights and less banding (when not provided by the stylistics), we have created several presets that make good use of the game's HDR lighting. If you have an HDR display, it's a must-have mod, whether you're using a vanilla look, a preset created by me, or customizing your own look with advanced color correction features. If you have an SDR display, you can enjoy the vanilla look and still have access to post-processing. You can even replace your game's tone mapper with a RenoDRT to customize your look to a higher level of quality than the one ReShade shaders can provide. Currently, you can modify shaders, enter buffers, add skins, update swap chains, update texture resources, and write user settings to disk. RenoDX uses the Reshade plugin system, so compatibility is expected to be quite broad; Reshade simplifies all the hooks needed to use DirectX without having to worry about version-specific fixes to exe files.
