Ultra-realistic 4k retexture of Peanut's stone castle

The most realistic textures of stones and locks you can find ! Updated and improved! New textures are added regularly! Some of the most boring and unrealistic textures of stones, rocks and castles were retextured in 1k, 2k and 4k. So far, the game has 21 textures, but we're betting on quality, not quantity. We hope that this can be seen in these textures. Enjoy!

Why this mod is realistic, for two reasons:

(1) According to my research, Vikings did not usually use very large stones to build castles (you can Google). Some of the stones used in the construction of Valheim, the size of Buick! The Vikings used smaller and more comfortable stones for construction. They used field stones of various shapes and sizes.

(2) Stones will become discolored if they are exposed to the weather for a long time. It may be a personal preference, but I like it when my locks look like they've stood the test of time. Castles with blue and dark stones do not look realistic. Therefore, the stones in these textures have a slightly pale and earthy hue.

2. Custom Textures (To install this mod, first install it in the <Steam Location>\steamappscommonValheimBepInExplugins folder. Then create a file called 'CustomTextures' in the plugins folder)

- Optimize and improve 4k textures.

- 1k and 2k options.

- The new texture of the stone floor (I was dissatisfied with the original look and after 6 attempts to improve it, finally found this). 

- New texture of stone moss

- New copper ore texture

This update changes all textures, so even if you already have this mod, download the full file. The installation process remains the same. Just overwrite the previously set textures.

(Road map) 

(Note: no extra order)

(1) Adjust/optimize some existing textures.

(2) Add other textures (e.g. copper and tin deposits).

(3) Create low-resolution textures (1k and 2k) for those who like the realistic look but are slightly hampered by the contrast between 4k and vanilla textures. (Completed).

(4) We plan to make darker (but still realistic) versions of the existing lock textures.

(5) We also plan to make 8k versions of these textures.

(6) We are also working on a realistic wood fashion (it will be a separate fashion).

(As an additional suggestion for those who like high-resolution textures but don't like the big contrast with vanilla textures.)

To do this, we recommend the following mods:

1. (for beginners) Valheim HD (WIP) or Valheim Vanilla HD

2.(possible) Badgers 2k Re-Tissue or Ivy's Tissue Pack
