Favorite servers of Valheim

The MOD is based on Bepinex, which provides a config file for storing hosts and passwords of servers and uploads them to the list of in-game servers.

Use this MOD for faster access to your friends' servers. You can specify a custom server to be displayed at the top of the server browser, and optionally pre-enter the password.

In the following statements, {valheim install} refers to the space on your hard drive that can be "C:˶Program Files (x86)˶Steam" if the mod is set to the default Windows space.

Installation.

ValheimFaveServers is just a .dll file that you can put in the {valheim install}/Bepinex/plugins directory (like any other bepinex mod).

Configure it.

Start and close Valheim. Create a new configuration file in the {valheim install}/Bepinex/plugins directory.

A new configuration file will be created in the {Valheim install}/Bepinex/config directory.

The filename is "net.l41rx.valheimfaveservers.cfg".

This file contains general settings and server information.

It provides a sample configuration for the dummy server "Comradely Conquest".

To add more servers

1. add a new server key (lowercase, without spaces) to the General.ServerKeys file.

2. Copy (or reboot/exit) the Comradely Conquest sample configuration block (Host, Name, Password, Port).

Remove Server

1. Remove the key. 2.

2. Delete the server block.

Note

If you run the game with a new server key but do not create a server property block, the system automatically generates a new server property block with the correct key and default values. This is faster and safer than copying an example.

Restrictions.

I don't know how to request the Valheim server version or the number of players:

* The number of players is hard coded as 0.

* Does the server version value "?

In addition, if you enter an incorrect password, you will not be able to change it in the game. You can change the backspace key to allow the correct password to be entered, but this will take a long time and will not be considered very useful under any circumstances.
