About This Mod
Adds an edit button to the character picker, allowing you to edit the appearance, gender, and name of existing characters.
It is a simple mod that adds a useful feature to the character picker and allows you to edit existing characters from the main menu.
To use it, simply click the new Edit button and a new interface for creating a player will appear. However, pressing Done does not create a new character, but retains the existing character.
Currently, we do not see a way to display the current hair color. This is due to the fact that the hair color is preserved as a combination of light and colored hair. As a result, when you start the editing process, the new hair color and blonde will be used by default - they are not saved until you click "Finish", so you can always click "Cancel" to keep the current values.
Configuration.
(When you run the game in this mode, the configuration file BepInEx/config/aedenthorn.CharacterEdit.cfg is created.)
You can edit this file in a text editor or set the configuration values in a game using Configuration Manager.
To reload the configuration from the configuration file, enter characterredit reset on the game console (F5).
Technical.
The easiest way to install this mod is to use Vortex, Nexus Mods's mod manager. It will handle all dependencies.
To install it manually, place the .dll file in the BepInEx/plugins folder; requires BepInEx.
