Omelette quest. Next Gen Enabled

During the development of The Witcher 3, CDPR created a quest called "Va Fail, Elaine", in which Jennefer asks for food, removing Uma's curse. The quest is complete, but the CDPR decided to cut it out of the game. This mod restores cut content for all players.

To enable the hidden quest, I created a new unique item in the game: "Omelet Cookbook". When Geralt acquires this item, he reads it and learns how to prepare the omelet properly. This information will be very useful when Yeon asks him to make her an omelet! Geralt can go and cook the omelet.

***Note1: There are branching options depending on how you played the game. If Geralt has met Yeung, he will receive a quest to prepare the omelet. If Geralt has not met Yeung, Vesemir will ask for food.

***Note2: I understand that this scene has been available for many years. However, this mod is unique in that it makes cut content available to all players regardless of their decisions along the way (via an additional item in the game); second, it does not require the use of console commands - it is integrated directly into the game to increase immersion and provide a seamless experience.

Quest activation instructions

Be sure to activate content by setting Mod: Omelet Quest to On. For the GOTY edition, this setting is in the Gameplay menu, for non-GOTY editions, in the Downloadable Content menu.

Download the save file before the Va Fail, Elaine quest (the quest must be Disorder or earlier).

As of version 1.0.3, the book can be purchased in two locations: Jonas (an innkeeper in Caer Trolde Harbor) and Markus T.K. Hodgson (owner of a bookshop in Novigrad Square). Move quickly to one of these places.

Talk to Jonas or T.C. Hodgson.

Purchase a unique item "Omelet Cookbook".

Important: Open the inventory menu and read the book "Omelet Cookbook". You should read the book (not just buy it).

Complete the Mess quest and complete the Va Fail, Elaine quest. The omelet quest begins during the scene when Yeon removes the curse from Mind.
