Improved controller button layout (Witcher 3 X Dark Souls) (IGNITE FIX)
About This Mod
This small configuration file changes the layout of the controller buttons in the game, mainly in combat. The layout of the buttons is largely similar to that of the Dark Souls, but is also mixed with the vanilla control of the Witchers 3.
For making me rip my lazy ass off and improve a miserable but decent control scheme for controllers.
WHAT CHANGES THE MODE
- Location of the attack
- Easy Attack Now R1 / RB
- Strong attack now R2 / RT
- Signs and pocket items such as crossbow can be accessed using TRIANGLE/Y
- Characters can be used using SQUARE/X
- Pocket items can be used with L1
- Witch Feeling Now L3 / Left Stick Retention
- Horse now running from left trigger (LT) / L2
- To extinguish or light candles or fire, now you need to press B / CIRCLE. This should prevent lute spam issues :)
Everything else must match the location of the controller buttons in the vanilla game, even at Ziri, although I did not study all its programs so carefully.
INSTALLATION
Download the file and replace your C:/Documents/Files/The Witcher 3/input.settings file with a mod file.
COMPATIBILITY
Works with any controller if Witcher 3 or your system notices a working controller. Personally, I use the XBOX360 controller emulator with the Ps3 controller, so even the emulators work.
