About This Mod

From my series N'Tak' Tweaks: Camera / Horse / Music / Conversations / Time,

These mods are intended for easy use and have minimal impact on script merging, they only affect a few lines in vanilla code.

The configuration is made convenient for the user with the help of the in-game menu, which allows to adjust everything to his discretion.

N'Tak' Music allows you to dynamically change the volume of your music depending on the different states of the game. For example, you can decrease the volume of music while you are focusing, turn off the music during the dialog, change the volume underwater or at night...

It also allows you to create a cycle to switch - with fading - between music and silence during exploration. By inserting phases of silence, the musical phases seem less repetitive.

Want to know more about how it works? Read the sticker in the Messages section.

INSTALLATION, EASY AND EASY!

⋅ Put the contents of the zip archive in the Witcher 3 software installation directory.

⋅ Do you have other script mods? Use Script Merger. There should be no conflict.

⋅ To use the configuration menu in Next-Gen, be sure to add the string "modNTakMusic.xml;" to the list files (dx11filelist.txt and dx12filelist.txt) in the folder "bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\".

⚠ This mod is clearly not compatible with any other mods that prevent music from appearing by simply removing parts of the logic in the scripts !

CONFIG MENU: CUSTOMIZE YOURSELF

The mod adds the modNTakMusic.xml file to the bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\ folder.

The configuration menu can be found in the game, via the main menu → Options → Mods → N'Tak' Tweaks → Music.

Look at the screenshot of the configuration menu in the images section to see all the options.

→ A csv file is available in case you want to translate for your language.

WHY THIS FASHION?

I liked the idea of Less Is More fashion: toggle playing OFF/ON music to add silence to the game.

But one of the problems (imho) with switching is that when you switch OFF and ON, the music restarts from the beginning.

So I wanted to try a different approach: change the volume. So when the volume increases after the silence, it should be in the middle of the song.

Then the fashion grew a little bit more when I had the idea of using states to dynamically change the volume.

And of course I made it as customizable as possible.

I like menyushki, you know. Yay! \o/
