About This Mod

A revised version of an earlier version that reproduces the sound of bullets flying through the sound barrier. I finally have time to finish it.

Description.

It's an iteration of my last modification, which reproduces the sound of bullets flying when you break the sound barrier. A similar sound can be heard in Insurgency. This reduction version includes new features and redesigned pages to improve readability and fix errors on older pages. It doesn't change sounds, it adds them.

Compatibility:

All scripts do not edit vanilla registrations; they are based on bulletID, so mods that add new bullets or edit vanilla ID bullets will not work without a patch; TTW and ballistX (made by Ravuth.) Awesome mod) are compatible.

Features.

Bullet Snap: This fashion is inspired by Insurgency. The sound of a click depends on the caliber (small, not small, subsonic).

New features.

Improved time: Bullets explode with better time.

Improved suppression display: suppression is displayed when hit is inevitable. Suppression is also not applied when wearing a full set of power armor.

Inner Click Sound: The inner and outer click sounds are different.

Simpler compatibility: Compatible patches are now easier to create.

Enjoy! Error messages and suggestions are welcome. If you are a developer or you like to create mods.

For customization and compatibility:

I only provided a few audio files, so you can add your own by copying them to a specific folder (just move some files).

About customization.

In 1.1, an ini file was added, allowing you to adjust the volume and other functions. See configBulletSnapSetting.ini for more information.

About sound files and related patches

First of all, one thing must be explained.

All the sound files for this mod are placed in a folder called "soundfxpha".

Snap audio path settings cause sounds in certain folders to be played randomly when certain conditions are met during play.

SubSonic sounds in the Subsonic* folder are played when subsonic projectiles hit the player's environment, regardless of weather conditions.

Other folders have their own names.

How do I make 'snap' work with other mods that add new projectiles?

At least you know how to use xEdit to find EditorID bullets added by other mods.

I just divided them into small, not small, and subsonic.

Steps

1. Find EditorID bullets (I recommend using xEdit to find it)

Navigate to: configBulletSnapConfig to an .ini file with an arbitrary name.

3. in ini file create ini sections of type [SmallProj], [NonSmallProj], [SubsonicProj].

4. In these sections write the correct editorID projectile. The ini file I provided is a good example.

5. It just works.

* The sound of "Snap" is played in 3D when a projectile hits somewhere close to the player. In a vanilla game, I don't write it in an ini file, because I think the sound gets stuck when a shotgun releases nine bullets at a time.
