About This Mod
The preset is Reshade, which enhances what is already so beautiful in the game. This preset adds more contrast and saturation to the environment, as well as a little more heat and flowering. Some things to watch out for:
✺ This preset doesn't require CPU or GPU so you can play with it, however I strongly recommend disabling Nice Guy Lighting and PPFX Bloom during the game as these are adaptive effects that can cause lags as they constantly try to adapt to a changing environment. They are best suited for photography.
✺ If the area blooms too much or too bright, I recommend disabling PPXF Bloom - it is always the most intense, but works almost everywhere.
✺ If the area is too dark, I recommend disabling Nice Guy Lighting. This will help to solve the problem.
✺ Download instructions:
- Copy and paste/drag the ini file to the "Dragon Age Veilguard" folder where you downloaded ReShade.
- Copy and paste/drag texture and shader files to their respective folders in bin > reshade-shaders

*NOTE* To make the Nice Guy Lighting lighting work, you need to properly configure the DisplayDepth, which is also used for the DepthDarkness filter, which in this ReShade does not switch, but is very useful for portraits. To adjust it, switch the effect and change the card to normal (it will look like the LSD trip from the Austin Powers movie). On the Add-ons tab at the top of ReShade, select both check boxes under Total Depth. Then go back to the main and turn off DisplayDeth. Now everything will work as usual.
DAtV will soon have another ReShade package that will highlight specific areas for a more cinematic effect, so stay tuned.
