About This Mod
The original game is beautiful so far, but I prefer a softer and unearthly look. Consider it a kind of "shade" of ReShade, it is very simple.
For those who are just starting to work with ReShade!
To use this shader, you'll need the latest version of ReShade, a link to which will be required. To install the shader, download ReShade and run the program on the disk you want to use. When running it should ask you for which game to install it for. Make sure you have selected exe Veilguard and select the program you are using to start the video. If you're running Windows, you'll most likely choose DirectX 10 or higher. If the game does not load in the game list, you can click "Browse" and find the .EXE file. This is important: be sure to download all the shader resources it offers! The easiest way to do this is to deselect all at the top and then select all and install. These are not shader presets, they are the basic shaders needed to create various visual effects in the game. After installing ReShade, be sure to close the game if it is open, and follow the steps below to install this shader preset:
1. Download the ZIP file.
2. Unpack it! You can use WinZip or the Check Out Files button on your computer. Extract the file "Meadows.exe". "No Preset.exe" is an optional file included with the package so you can quickly remove the ReShade presets you have selected.
3. Drag and drop only the .ini file to the main Dragon Age: The Veilguard folder.
4. Download the game.
5. Press the "Home" button on your keyboard to open ReShade and select my preset from the pop-up bar at the top.
6. Enjoy!
