About This Mod

This preset makes the game's atmosphere darker and darker, almost completely removing the annoying purple filter, as well as reducing the color, sharpening the image and improving Ambient Occlusion, among other improvements.

INSTALLATION


1. Download and unpack my preset, copy the file "BLIGHTPreset.ini" and paste it into the folder with the game Dragon Age Veilguard (where "Dragon Age The Veilguard.exe" is located), usually located at ...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dragon Age The Veilguard.

2. Download and install the latest https://reshade.me. In the Select Effects to Install step, scroll to the end of the page, click Browse to locate the BLIGHTPreset.ini file, and then click Next to complete the installation.

3. Copy and overwrite the "reshade-shaders" folder from my preset into the directory: ...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dragon Age The Veilguard.

3. Finished. Run the game and enjoy!

RECOMMENDED SETTINGS


I have set up and tested this preset with the maximum settings, 4K resolution and SDR. I also don't use any mods to disable bloom. Therefore, I am not sure how the visual effect will change under different settings :)

NOTE


When using this preset, you will definitely have to sacrifice some frame rate. On my PC, the performance dropped by about 15-20%, on yours it may be less.

Simply delete these files and folder:

- reshade-shaders

- dxgi.dll

- ReShade.ini

- BLIGHTPreset.ini
