About This Mod
General texture and water animation improvements. Three options to choose from: standard, tropical and canonical!
Preem Water standard water (now called Pure) has an increased intensity of normal texture and a lower scale for a clear surface and a more natural scale of the world.
Tropical water Preem Water has a completely different light scattering, from depth to reflection of the sun, and tropical color. It also reduces the speed of the animation and reduces the refraction so that you can see closer to the ocean floor. I also took the advice of crubino and removed some of the debris from the seabed and shoreline.
Canon Preem Water is the closest version to vanilla with several significant changes: the reflectivity of the surface was reduced to produce less shiny reflections, the scattering depth was reduced for a dirtier view, the wave size was increased, the animation slowed down, and the normal intensity was reduced to give the water surface a less attractive appearance.
In addition to changing the properties of the water, I also redesigned the sewer net and changed its properties to better match the surface. Unfortunately, the animated particles are metallic (so far) and lack transparency, so they are not exactly water-like. I also tweaked the WaterMap world map, which corrects the intensity of waves in certain areas of the map.
