About This Mod

RealcolorrⅢ is an advanced color solution that delivers hyper-natural shades, balanced tones and neutral, non-flat-looking contrast. Built using AgX imaging technology.


This is not a ReShade-based effect. This is an in-game LUT, meaning it will run without any other software and will be easily integrated into the game. This also means that if there is any other LUT mod in your boot order, it will likely cause a conflict, and neither RealcolorrⅢ nor this mod will work as intended.


As with each of my mods, the screenshots and video sections are completely open - I don’t need to approve any of your work. If you can download something cool that you've done with RealcolorrⅢ, it would be just wonderful! It always cheers me up!


INFO: Realcolorr Ⅲ, like Neon Genesis, is designed for calibrated gamma settings. If the contrast appears too low or high, change the gamut. I recommend an interval between 0.9 and 1.2; a higher or lower value will cause you to deviate too much from your original vision.


NOTE: HDR. is supported but very experimental. Report any problems and use these settings:

  • Maximum brightness: 1,000 cd/m²
  • Medium Tone Point: 1.0

Will be added in future updates. The experimental nature and recommended settings will remain unchanged after the update is released.

  • Natural contrast curve,
  • Dark areas are dark, but black areas do not look crushed. Highlights are bright but not knocked off, and even if knocked off, there are details.
  • Life Shades,
  • Red and green shift to warm; blue stays cold but does not shift to purple.
  • Correct for perception brightness,
  • The brightness is not the same for perception, but is perceived as "correct" for the scene. It is best to test this in practice.
  • Well balanced exposure.
  • Rare instances of black light and blur.

Compatibility


Interaction with Neon Genesis and other similar lighting modes including integrated loot (e.g. GITS) is supported, but Realcolorr Ⅲ should be loaded later. Since the .archive file for Realcolorr Ⅲ is prefixed with a tilde ('~'), it will automatically download after almost everything. Please report in the messages section if this integrated patch does not work.


This part of the boot order may also allow you to automatically overwrite other LUT mods (e.g. Nova LUT), but you should still get rid of other related mods before installing this.


All mods that edit the main ENV file should continue to work with Realcolorr Ⅲ without problems. (e.g. EW, AWV, NCLM, etc.).
