About This Mod

Because many of the "photorealistic" Reshade presets here tend to overdo the fake HDR./LEVELS, etc., to deepen the shadow/exposure of the scene, the result is too dark. Because of this, the details of all surfaces, clothes, etc. disappear into the darkness. The black dot rises to a ridiculous level, and the whole picture becomes darker than hell. No one wants that. Black in the style of dark holes does not exist in real life, nor in drawing/painting/rendering. Natural darkness is more like dark graphite, so fake HDR. tends to obscure things too much. This preset was created in order not to cross the edge of the blackout, but at the same time to make the shadows and colors much deeper with better temperature and saturation.

CHANGE-LOG

—> current version (1.63): v.2.0/v2.5: RT Overdrive & Classical RT Adjusted, different versions of the FPS cost: a) It's breathtaking 2.0 (heavy switched bloom, breaks the game menu if enabled, but looks great on screen), b) FPS Friendly (balanced), c) Sharpen (low), d) It's breathtaking 2.5 (heavy - bloom and menu customized to play with bloom included)

—> PREVIOUS VERSIONS: OBSOLETE

RESHADE 5.0+ PROBLEMS - READABLE!

Use Reshade 4.9.1. This is the best option. The preset will work with all available versions, but anything above 4.9.1 eats up the FPS by simply turning on EMPTY PRESET! You got it right - there are no effects - just a preset/Reshade works. Sometimes it can reach 10 FPS - depending on the game! Because of this problem, even though the new, bright Reshade feels great, UI and everything else looks neat - I highly recommend using 4.9.1.

WHAT IT REALLY DOES IN DETAIL

- Sharpen (Sharpen severely) [YOU MUST TURN THE FILTER GRINE OFF - otherwise it will look bad, trust me]

- reduction of the green filter (many do not like it, and not realistically)

- color saturation and temperature rise (most people like rich, colorful images, but without the green/blue/red noise filter, as in vanilla game)

- deepening of shadows (without dimming everything that 1000 presets do, using fake HDR./LEVELS, etc., and I hate it - natural darkness is more like the dark graphite color, which I have already mentioned)

- feeling "HDR." without making everything too dark

- Additional SSAO

- HDR. dimming FOR SCREENSHOTS (switched with END) - good only for screenshots

IF TOO SHARP

- for some people it can be too sharp, which depends on both the monitor, resolution, and personal preferences - if you find it too sharp, just turn off one of the sharpening effects - for me it's great, but a few people have noted this "problem" (personally i like the sharp details on concrete and steel, and i do not mind at all that the skin was grainy, so it is purely personal preference)

KEYBOARD CONFIGURATION (MINE, DO NOT HESITATE TO CHANGE THEM IN THE SOLUTION IF YOU WANT OR IF THEY DO NOT FIT YOU)

HOME = TINT OVERLAY ON/OFF

PG-UP = ON/OFF EFFECTS

END = GLOOMING HDR (SCREENSHOTS ONLY - use PRNTSCREEN instead of the native Photomod button to see all Reshade effects in your screenshots)

* Suggestion: add HUD on/off from CET to PG-DN, as well as INS for Afterburner/RTSS Overlay for FPS and hardware statistics, and everything will be ready!
