Replacement for Adopt Western Clothes?

This mod is a new place for Snori's Adopt Western Clothes fashion as they handed me the authority for further support. A minor redesign/refinement of the mechanics was carried out, supplemented by the rules of the game to preserve the old behavior where applicable. Thank you for supporting the amazing fashion and I hope for your continued support of this!

At a Glance

Western Clothes: Redux (WCR) adds functionality for nations that begin to be un-Westernized, to westernize their characters and populations, and to wear European-style clothing.

Westernization takes place mainly through a decision which is opened after the fulfillment of its requirements. Once the decision is made, your country begins the process of Westernization, and all your characters and segments of the population will wear Western attire.

Modes Compatibility

For blue0china East Asian Clothes users, please use East Asian Clothes Patch for compatibility.

WCR also comes with built-in Universal Names compatibility for tooltips and text that include character names. Patch mods are not required.

WCR also has special logic if Community Outfit Mod is detected. If COM is established and the rules of the game do not prohibit it, then Westernized Korea and Japan will use monarch uniforms provided by COM if they choose their own designs when Westernizing.

WCR is designed to be compatible with other mods that make adjustments to the clothing of segments of the population and characters. However, due to the behavior of Vic3 mods loading, mods that make changes to the following may not be compatible:

· Accessories

· Clothing

· Hairstyles

· Hats

for the characters and the population.

Modes that modify a custom tooltip (cooltips) file are incompatible and will require a compatibility patch unless they are Community Mod Framework compliant. CMF should be installed and used with WCR in such cases.

All other fashions must work.

This mod works on its own and can be placed anywhere.

If you are having problems with the correct operation of mods with other mods, try placing this mod below (at the bottom) of your mod list.

For Universal Names users, the UN location relative to WCR is irrelevant.

DLC Requirements

This mode does not rely on any DLC features for most of its features, so you will not need any DLC.

Sphere of Influence users will get the following additional features:

· Certain policies will wear overcoats in winter months, matching the behavior of DLC overcoats

· Internal style option for Persia will be available

· Uniform that converts to late-era styles after exploring the longitudinal-sliding bolt rifles. Countries with internal styles will also receive fictional or vaguely historical late-era styles if an appropriate rule of play is included (except for Persia, which will always use them as provided by the DLC).
