About This Mod

This is an improved version of the 'China Fix' fashion. Based on the original version, additional adjustments were made to the Eurasian provinces and the allocation of resources. Both versions contain modified cards, so do not activate them at the same time. [Previous Version] Chinese Modification [Version to Improve Map] Qing Dynasty Modification [Version to Improve Map] [New Modifications] (i) Prussian provinces were improved to better reflect regional changes in modernity (ii) Dutch provinces were adjusted to ensure that the French magazine "natural borders" received the correct boundaries (iii) Russian provinces were improved to better reflect regional changes in modernity. (iv) The Dutch provinces were adjusted so that the French magazine Natural Borders had the right borders; the Russian provinces were improved and irregularities eliminated. The conquest of territories or the liberation of vassals will not disrupt the map; topographical, soil, climate and industrial adjustments have been added to the respective regions of Europe and Qing to reflect their geographical features. Correctly added the corresponding soil characteristics of Northeast China and the Great Plains of America: 1) The population of the interior and northeast regions at the beginning of the game was reorganized according to the official statistics of the Great Qing from 1833 to 1851. The total population of the Chinese region is estimated at around 400 million people; 2) The inner Qing provinces were re-divided, and some extra provinces were merged into the administrative division of the Greater Qing and the ROC, taking into account the aesthetic requirements of the map; 3) The Qing borders were redrawn to roughly correspond to the boundaries of the 1820 map. To simulate historical boundary problems, areas outside the northwest were reconstructed as supposedly non-colonized territories. This means that the Great Qing generally controlled territories outside the northwest, but foreign (imperial Russia, Qing resource allocation was revised, unreasonable resources from the original game were removed and those that were supposed to be there were added: Most of the resources of tea, sugar, tobacco and silk in northern China were recovered, and oil that was not supposed to be in Shanxi was extracted and moved to Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia and Hebei. (ii) The forest resources of the Chinese regions were reorganized according to annual rainfall and forest cover, all wood was extracted from steppe and desert areas, but at the same time the forest potential of Northern and Southern China was significantly increased; the distribution of coal, iron, sulfur, lead, oil and rubber was brought into line with the current distribution. Coal resources are concentrated in northern China, and iron, sulfur, and lead are widespread. The regions of Yunnan, Guangdong and Guangxi have rubber potential; the resource potential of mainland China is approximately equal to that of Europe (Great Britain, France, Spain); according to the real geographical and cultural conditions, the provinces are added corresponding strengths and weaknesses, so that each geographical block has its own economic position. At the same time, as the total number of infrastructure decreases when the provinces are merged, the deficiencies are compensated by the strengthening of the respective regions. The mod is still in development and will be corrected later for minerals, cropland, population, etc. CAUSE OF FAILURE: You are using an older version or the map editor has not loaded the path files correctly. Solution: Uninstall and reinstall this mod, be careful not to open it at the same time as other card mods.
