About This Mod

Originally created for this: version 1.5.12 WORKS WITH OTHER MODES AI This mod does the following: moves transport to the category of goods "Industry". AI weights for autonomous investment decisions in private construction queues have been changed.V1.1: Wood, fabric and electricity have also been moved to the category "Industrial".V1.1: AI weights have been changed to take more account of MAPI effects compared to other modified weights.V1.2: Related privatization weights have been changed, making previous changes and consistent measure; V1.3: Increased probability of privatization and improved capitalist moves; V1.4: Increased weighted share of population for investing in their country; V1.5: Added high level changes, to stop AI from overbuilding power plants and ensure that railways and power plants benefit from economies of scale; V1.6: Added new MAPI weight to AI weight to take into account the impact of MAPI on economies of scale; V1.7: Added new MAPI weight to economies of scale. V1.6: The logic of placing owner buildings has been rebalanced so that they are not too concentrated in the capital; V1.7: It has become easier for companies to become owners of new buildings of their type; V1.8: The priorities have been adjusted and the blocking of nations has been reduced with a low pop factor: the choice of what to build Investment Groups that build usually build what they benefit most. If you think this mod is not working as claimed, please install it one last time and try again before reporting the problem. Why is transport now an industrial commodity? This change makes the use of hard-coded autonomous investment codes and the construction of railways preferable in case of lack of transport. My railway has not yet been built autonomously. Railways must be run by capitalists (or craftsmen). If they are run by the state, no one will want to profit from the railways. ...... Can players be allowed to build railways the way they build them? Realistically, you can't do that. What I am doing is devising a more logical way to pull the levers that AI is already listening to. It's not easy to interpret this lever, so there probably aren't dozens of mods that do the same thing. To make it look like players, you need new features, which is not something that can be added using mods. But we don't really want to make them look like players. Players focus on certain things, especially in large empires, and this can undermine other spheres. In my opinion, I want the autonomous structure to complement the players, not be them.
