Temple of Thor

Clean up the once mighty evil temple of the Torah and return it to its former glory. The player's house (or Grave) with new mini-quests for players in Walheim.

First acting assignment in Walheim.

"They came through the floorboards and were on us. We escaped to the main hall and barricaded ourselves, but soon AMI were everywhere. The temple was destroyed. Send reinforcements, we can't keep them long. —lorgrim, Thor has petrol."

On the edge of a dark forest, a short walk southeast of the standing stone, is the Great Temple of Thor, a huge building dedicated to Odin's son. Hofgati, a priest of Thor, was killed by powerful beings and raised as a draughr.

The player is tasked with freeing the Temple of Thor from this curse and returning it to its former glory.

The Torah Temple is a 100-meter-high, detached structure filled with undead, traps, secret doors, secret passageways and countless treasures. If you reach the highest point of the temple, the morning sun will also reveal the whereabouts of merchant Haldor. 

Once cleared, it will be home to the perfect player. Recommended 100+ HPS, iron transmission. Ignoring the whining dog you heard on the wall demanded their sacrifice.

Features:

A huge structure stretching from sea level to snow level, with huge open arenas and many winding passages and rooms, secret doors and death traps.

 100% vanilla - mod is not required, although this is more than 3 times the allowed limit of the normal Valheim assembly.

When the player is not around, the monster will happily destroy the furniture and stairs, and progress will be difficult unless you act quickly. Over time, they can actually level up most of the land. 

To declare yourself the new high Hofgati, you must reach the top and keep moving.

Puzzles, riddles and clues reveal a hidden path to wealth and glory. Or a horrible death.

As you progress, monsters will become harder and harder to come by.

At its highest point within reach, the morning sun shows the whereabouts of Haldor, the merchant. Of course, suppose the monster didn't destroy it. You better hurry up.

The rewards are generous, but they don't spoil the game.

The monster-free version is only available for those who want to move.

This map requires a high-level system.

The temple of Thor was designed to test the limits of what was possible during the construction of Valheim. I can't stress that. To get a rough idea of whether you can handle the reproducible speed, go to the Black Forest on any card and press F2-80 fps+ if you have a speed of at least 60 fps, see below.

Requirements

No, except for a pretty brave computer. The temple is huge and taxed in some systems. If there is sufficient demand, I can make a toned version for medium transmission installation. (I get 1,660 frames per second on the i9-9900K from gtx28ti, but it’s still very playable.) This quick overview of the Rustyb3Ans optimization guide helped me improve performance and gave me a decent 30% frame-per-second gain:

How to Improve Valheim Performance

Step 1 - Edit the configuration file

Go to this computer > (C :) > Software Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > General > Valheim > Valheim_Data

If you are using multiple drivers, replace (C:) with the driver that hosts the installation of the game

Right-click the boot configuration file and open it in Notepad

Add the following line to the beginning of the document:

gfx-enable-gfx-jobs = 1

enable gfx-local-gfx jobs = 1

Save your changes and close the file

Step 2 - Set startup options

Right-click Valheim in the Steam application and select Properties

On the General tab, in the Run Options box, type the following

- Window Mode - Custom

Step 3 - Set Priority

Open the Task Manager and locate the valheimin Processes tab

It appears in the list as valheim (2), so press the arrow in the drop-down menu to display the master valheim record

Right-click Valheim and select Go to Parts

Right-click valheim on the Advanced tab.Run exe and set the priority to high

This step should be performed each time the game is started.
