About This Mod
InSlim/BepInEx mode to keep the wind behind you!
I was trying to figure out the wind code and see why it always blows.
Some believe that this mode is cheat, others that it is necessary, because they have a life outside of Walheim and cannot afford two hours on a boat trip.
We didn't test it in multiplayer, so we don't know if it works or not.
Now available as a plugin for BepInEx!
Check the WindFix_readme.txt file for the configuration file.
In 0.3.0 some minor changes were made! The direction of the wind now changes only when you are on board and using sails!
We changed the direction of the wind only when the sails are half or full, because when you run on foot, the wind can distract if it is always behind you.
In addition, prior to version 0.2.1, the wind blew on the player's back rather than on the boat. It didn't work very well when you had to fight alone against big snakes. So now the wind is blowing in the direction of the boat, not the player.
Brief description of the options:
When UseAngle = false, the wind is directed to the rear of the boat, especially under half or full sail.
Angle is used only when UseAngle = true.
Angle is the angle of wind inclination relative to the direction the vessel is moving.
Angle = -90 means that the wind blows from the right side of the vessel.
Angle = 90 means that the wind is blowing on the left side of the ship.
Angle = 180 is a new mode of GetGood, which means that the wind blows from the front of the ship.
