Map synchronization

In sync mode, you can share all of your research history and map data with a friend by pressing F10 while you're close to another player.

Includes different versions of BepInEx and InSlimVML mod loader.

New version (1.3.0):

-Added ability to share card pins. For more information on how to use and configure it, see the "How to Use and Configure" section below.

If you lost your card data due to an error in the old version (1.1) that caused the loss of card data, if you specified the wrong path to the location in valheim mode, please refer to the comments section for tips and possible solutions for their recovery. We apologize profoundly.

(Invalid paths: paths are too long or contain special characters that are not allowed in paths)

Important:

This mod only works on the client side and should not be installed on the server. Players who wish to send and receive card data must install it.

Requirements.

Mod installer required:

A) Install the InSlimVML Fashion Installer.

B) Install the BepInEx Fashion Installer.   

  https://valheim.thunderstore.io/package/download/denikson/BepInExPack_Valheim/5.4.601/ (I've tested with it and it should work with your version)

Download

1) Download the appropriate zip file depending on the mod installer.

2) Depending on the fashion loader, do one of the following:

A) Unzip the file to the ***YourValheimFolder***/InSlimVML/Mods/ folder.

B) Open the ***YourValheimFolder***/BepInEx/plugins/ folder.

Usage

Default Key

Send an F10 card

Permission Transfer: Delete

Card output data transfer: F11

Mode on/off: F9

You can cancel these settings.

If you stand next to each other and press F10 (all), you share research data with each other.

When you press F10, your data is transferred to the player standing next to you and your data is combined with his card.

If you press F10 and your friend doesn't press F10, your data will be merged with your friend's card, but you won't have your friend's data!

When you press F10, your card will be instantly updated and you will see a "new" merged card.

Synchronizing binding data:

Sending the map ping data using F11 works in the same way as synchronizing the original map.

There are many types of ping (bed position, screaming, ping, etc.) that are not passed to players.

This mod splits five manually generated types of ping and ping bosses.

A heuristic was added to minimize the repetition of pings. If you and a friend create a Home icon for your home and the two pings are very close, they will be marked as duplicates and your friend's ping will not be shown, just yours.

Pins are marked as duplicates only if the pin icon is the same type, the two pins have the same name, and the distance between them is less than the distance limit.

You can set the maximum distance for marking duplicates (default: 25). For more information, see Settings.

You can customize the shortcut keys used by MOD.

To create a configuration file, you must first join the game with the mod installed!

The configuration file is created in the folder where you copied the mod .dll file (... .Valheim_root/Inslimvml/mods/ or . .Valheim_root/Bepinex/plugins/).

You can configure the following:

-Enable modes at startup: Enable modes at startup: True/False

-The key to send card data.

-Toggle mode keys.

-Send pin data key.

-Pin Flag Duplicate Distance: 25 (pins with the same name + type and closer than this distance will be marked as duplicates).

To create a new configuration file, you must delete the old configuration file.

It is usually recommended to use the F5-F11 keys, but you can set any that the game recognizes.

The values in the left column are used (for example, Backspace, Delete, F1, F2, ...) .
