Each additional passenger increases the speed of the boat in rowing mode.

A small themed mode that will make swimming with friends even more fun, call your friends to help you row!

Features.

Each additional passenger increases the speed of the vessel in rowing mode.

The speed increase is configurable and defaults to a = 1/2, r = 7/8, and n = the sum of the geometric series with the number of players sitting on the nose or mast or receiving support.

The acceleration formula and the player counting method are configured.

Known issues/limitations.

To minimize problems, all users on the server should have the mod installed.

Players do not need to sit in a seat or hold onto their nose or mast to accelerate. They can help anywhere on the deck.

Logging out or disconnecting while on deck can inadvertently increase the number of passengers until all players leave the area.

Configuration Files

The configuration file is located in the <GameDirectory config>｠ohmg.mods.paddlepower.cfg folder.

'enabled': enable or disable this plugin completely.

'debug_logging': Enable or disable the display of debug log messages. It's spam and not necessary unless you're trying to solve a specific problem.

'counting_method': which players will be counted as a contribution to the ship's speed.

- ALL: all players on the ship deck.

- ATTACHED: (default) only players sitting on a ship or holding a mast or nose are counted.

- SITTING: only seated players (including pilots) are counted.

'scaling_method' selects the formula used to calculate the player's contribution to speed.

- GEOMETRIC: (default) Contribution to speed is reduced for each additional player.

- LINEAR: Each additional player adds the same amount of extra speed.

- Configuration property "coefficient" is limited in range from 0 to 1.

Configuration properties specific to LINEAR.

- base_quantity": rowing power

- additional_amount": the racket strength of additional players.

- 'maximum_bonus': maximum bonus: maximum racket strength regardless of the number of players.
