About This Mod

Share your cards and pins with others. This wonderful mod transfers maps and pins completely to the server. This means that you can receive card and pin updates even if you are offline. Maps and pins are stored and loaded with the world and sent when connected.

Server side Valheim maps

Share your maps and icons with others.

This wonderful mod takes your cards and pins completely to the server.

You'll get card and pin updates even when you're offline. Maps and pins are stored and loaded with the world and sent when connected.

The plugin moves fully researched maps and created pins to the server.

When the client explores, the examined area is sent to the server, which then propagates it to all connected clients.

It is distributed to all connected clients. When a client joins, the server synchronizes the current examined scope with the client.

When a client joins, the server synchronizes the current examined scope with the client. Pin sharing is also possible, but by default it is spurious and must be enabled.

If pin sharing is used, all newly created pins are sent to the server, which stores them with the area under investigation.

They are stored on the server.

Please update the Hill catalog.

For unknown reasons, the .explorer file was erased and set to zero byte.

If you are using a pin system, you must restore a backup of the file.

Otherwise, nothing needs to be done, as the file will be restored and the progress of the exploration from the player will be synchronized.

They are synchronized when the player logs in again.

Manual control is required. (Server Administrator)

Valheim changed the structure of the world/save folders and moved the world files to a new location.

To do this, you must:

1) Locate the Valheim World Preservation Folder.

2) Move the world's .explorer files to a new location.

How it works.

If you haven't read the rest of the text, read at least this one.

Sharing tokens.

1) The default tokens are false and must be enabled if you want to use this feature.

2) The configuration file is created after the first run of the new version. You can edit the configuration file in BepInEx/config/eu.mydayyy.plugins.serversidemap.cfg.

3) After you edit the configuration, you must restart the server.

4) Existing tokens from clients are not synchronized with the server.

5) Newly created tokens will exist only on the server, not on the client.

6) When the client connects, all tokens are loaded from the server.

7) If the client disables token exchange, it will no longer exchange tokens while other clients on the server continue to exchange tokens.

8) If the server disables token sharing, regardless of what the client installs in the configuration file, it will not be able to exchange tokens.

Sharing maps

1) As usual, the examined areas are synchronized and merged with the server.

2) The server sends the client an ongoing map survey, and the client joins it together.

3) If the client disables mapping data sharing, the client chooses to do so, and other server users continue to share mapping research.

4) If the server disables card sharing, the card can no longer be shared, regardless of what the client specifies in the configuration file.

The points and search data are stored in a new file along with the map.

Token and map sharing can be disabled separately.

Commands.

There are currently three chat commands available

- convertpins: Downloads all currently client-side pins to the server.

- /convertpins ignorelocaldupes: loads all currently client-side pins onto the server. The pins that are next to the pins on the server will not be loaded. The default radius is 15.0, which is configured in the configuration.

- /deletealllocalpins: removes all local pins. These pins cannot be recovered, so use this command if you really need it.
