Guiding Stones
About This Mod
Build a network of roadstones, sit in front of it, find a remote location or another roadstone in line of sight, and quickly move to it.
The mod allows the creation of road stones that can be used to quickly move to other road stones or tagged road stones, as well as fixed or dynamic locations.
The mod is primarily intended for use in nomap or noportals mode. It can be used to navigate in nomap mode and as an alternative to fast travel in noportal mode. Path points can be used as distant landmarks and as an alternative to pointers.
When you first approach the trip stone, Hugin will give you a hint on how to use it. If Raven hints are disabled, Hugin will not appear.
Search direction.
After you create a waystone, sit in front of it and turn on search mode.
The screen will dim and the camera will slow down, allowing you to listen and search for distant places.
The volume and brightness of the screen reflect the distance between the direction you are currently looking in and the direction you are away.
If you "touch" the gaze of this direction, you will begin to move quickly to it.
The zoom button (mouse scrolling) can be used to change the camera's FoV, as well as to increase or decrease the sensitivity of the eye.
In single-player mode, time also slows down.

Rapid movement capabilities take time to recover. Recovery time depends on distance traveled. The maximum and minimum distance and recovery time can be configured. Hovering the cursor over a location in search mode shows the recovery time after a quick move.
Console commands.
setwaystonecooldown [seconds].
allows you to manually set the time of stay.
By default, the timeout is based on the world time. It can be modified to use global real time instead.
Reduced time spent
Objects can be sacrificed to pathstones to shorten the action time.
Create a shudnal.Waystones.reduce_cooldowns.json or shudnal.Waystones.reduce_cooldowns.yaml file in the Bepinex configuration folder.
This file consists of a pair of itemname: cooldown. The subject name can be a prefab name (for example, TrophyNeck) or a subject name (for example, $item_trophy_neck).

A network of road stones.
When the search mode is activated, all road stones available for quick moving are temporarily added to the map. You can open the map while in search mode.
For a path point to be added to the map, you must mark it and activate it.
Deleted or unmarked path points cannot be used for quick navigation.
Random dots.
A random point found earlier in the biome.
To move quickly to a random point, look at your feet. The camera should be directed straight down.
A quick move to a random point will have the least amount of time to wait.

Select the direction and press the Use shortcut to begin moving quickly.
As soon as you start to move quickly, the nearby monsters will be affected by the sound and light you emit. If you take damage while casting a spell, the effect disappears and there is a short pause.
To remove the channel, click the Lock button manually.
Restrictions.
There are some limitations to using the Quick Move and Search mode.
You must not receive light.
You should not carry items that are not portable.
You shouldn't be wet.
You must not be discovered by enemies.
You have to sit.
All of these restrictions can be disabled in Settings.
You can also enter search mode by using the hotkey without having to create a waystone.
By default, tags are limited to 15 characters. This limitation can be increased if the road stone is used as a marker.
The default recipe for road stone is "SurtlingCore:1,GreydwarfEye:5,Stone:5", and it can be configured on the fly using Configuration Manager.
Visual effects.
Almost everything regarding the visual effects of directional search mode and fast moving particles can be set up in case you have performance problems (which should not happen, but still).

Display and sound sensitivity thresholds (whether or not effects begin to appear at an angle between the direction of position and the direction of view)
Localization.
To add your own localization, create a file named Waystones.LanguageName.yml or Waystones.LanguageName.json anywhere in the Bepinex folder. For example, to add a French translation, create the Waystones.French.yml file in the config folder and add the French translation there.

The mod must be compatible with any mod.
