Custom weapon statistics
About This Mod
Adjust your weapon's overall and individual attack metrics, including durability, strength, damage, backfire, and status effects.
Mod allows you to edit different stats for individual weapons, as well as global weapon multipliers.
Weapon Status Settings
User weapon states are stored in json files in CustomWeaponStats in BepInExplugins. To create a template json file for a specific weapon, type the following command in the console (F5):
customweaponstats save https://github.com/aedenthorn/ValheimMods.
Example: customweaponstats save SwordBronze will create a SwordBronze.json file that contains the default values for the Bronze Sword. Edit this file as you wish, save it, and then type the following command into the console:
customweaponstats reload
This will reload the file and apply the new values when someone attacks with a bronze sword.
Variables generally require no explanation.
For a complete list of status effects, enter the following command in the console
customweaponstats se
Only one status effect can be applied to a weapon.
For skills, you can get a complete list by entering the following command in the console: customweaponstats se
customweaponstats skills
Numeric skill values are described in the json file.
Global Multiplier
Mod also provides the following global weapon modifiers through a configuration file
GlobalDamageMultiplier
GlobalUseResilienceMultiplier
GlobalAttackForceMultiplier
GlobalBackstabBonusMultiplier
GlobalHoldDurationMin Multiplier
Configuration.
The configuration file BepInEx/config/aedenthorn.CustomWeaponStats.cfg is created when you start a game with this mode.
You can edit this file using a text editor or set the configuration values in the game using Configuration Manager.
To reload the configuration from the configuration file, enter customweaponstats reset in the game console (F5).
Technique.
The easiest way to install this mod is to use Vortex, a mod manager. It will handle all dependencies.
To install it manually, place the .dll file in the BepInEx/plugins folder; requires BepInEx.
