About This Mod

ValheimArmory aims to create a more diverse but non-chaotic weapons selection so that all game styles are fully supported on each level.

Valheim Armory.

Valheim Armory is a sequel to Valheim Additions. It's a little mod designed to fill a gap in the Walheim ecosystem.

The goal of fashion is to create a more diverse, but not cluttered, selection of weapons, so that all styles of play are fully supported on each level.

The fashion is balanced so as to be basically true to the legend, but at the same time prioritizing fun and playable scales and mechanics.

The mod is very easy to set up and can be used completely, partially or modified as needed.

Disclaimer.

This is my first fashion for Unity and Valhiem.

My first goal in creating fashion was just to create a new arrow.

I'm not a game developer, I'm not good at texturing and modeling, and I don't know the Unity installer.

I'm open to feedback, and I'd love to hear from you.

Features.

Listed below are all items added to this mod. Descriptions and information are given here to make you aware of what you are receiving. Don't look at everything that's added, instead they're hidden so you can explore.

For more information on arrows and weapons, see readme on github.

Boss weapons were added over time, offering a number of weapon styles for bosses.

A weapon for Eicester.

Added bows, swords, daggers, Greataxe, and Atgeir for Eiktir.

A weapon for Bournemouth.

Added 2H Warhammer, Dagger and Greatsword.

The Queen's Weapon

Added Great Sword, Sword, Dagger, Bow

Arrows.

Arrows added here play several roles and, more importantly, add a new resource consumption.

Bone arrows are a cheap alternative to wooden arrows.

Chitinous arrows add a cheap alternative to wooden arrows.

Arrows from an ancient tree add an even more powerful shell from an ancient tree.

Fire arrows add a powerful variation to fire arrows.

Black metal arrows complement the variation of metal arrows.

Wooden bolts are a cheaper alternative to more expensive crossbow bolts and can be used at the beginning of the game.

Bronze Bolts: More expensive than cheap bolts and do slightly more damage.

Iron Poison Bolt: Heavy poison damage.

Silver freezing bolt. You should be able to freeze them with a crossbow.

Black metal hardening bolt.

Atgeiri.

Catapults are incredibly powerful, but using them requires stamina.

The Royal Cliff catapults are a step from iron catapults to black metal catapults.

Silver catapults facilitate the transition from iron to black metal.

Battle axes

Battle axes are a fun but very challenging style of play in Valheim. The battle axes are slow, so you usually have to kill the enemy before they kill you. However, the first battle ax you get on the marshes, so the actual ax damage depends heavily on how much wood you cut.

Bronze Big Ax gives you the opportunity to use as a combat weapon an ax that was previously 2H).

Black Metal Ax (Wrath of Hercules) is the current 2H endgame ax that can deal enough damage to be used in Mist Land.

Crossbows.

Crossbow is a lot of fun. The problem with crossbows is that they use a unique skill type, and in the current endgame you get it for the first time. This means that it is useless as a means of inflicting damage unless you are grinding and you are likely to use it.

A bronze crossbow is finally a real crossbow for an early game. The bronze crossbow is an optional early version of the crossbow with wooden bolts and cheap ammunition. It is fragile, but great as a weapon for vile attacks against enemies of mountain and plain level.

The Hammer.

Sani is another fun weapon, but it's a niche weapon, and he suffers greatly from a lack of upgrades.

Black metal sleds (Sky Smasher) are low-level sleds that provide more improvements than iron sleds.

Shields.

Buckler is the lightest shield, giving the maximum bonus to parry and the minimum penalty to the speed of movement. However, like other weapons, it suffers from its small mass.

The Snake Buckle is a mid-level buckle that increases with the resources required to reach the buckle at the end of the game, although it is difficult to obtain.

Swords

A great sword is a relatively ineffective weapon: it is less practical than other weapons and has a weak type of damage. Therefore, it has to be compensated with bare damage, but in vanilla great swords are only available at the level of the Mystland/Black Metal. These swords create the missing level of progression and provide a meaningful two-handed weapon variant with high damage in the early game.

Bronze Greatsword 2H Sword in an early game

Iron Greatsword 2H Sword Progression.

Silver Greatsword ...... A silver ax with its own soul damage.

The Sword Progression tree is extensive, but it lacks options that can be useful at the beginning of the game. Abyssal Sword is one such option that extends the use of this skill.

The Chitinous Sword (Abyssal Sword) is an early-game sword that lies between bronze and iron, but with the unique difference that it deals blunt damage and is less useful against all enemies in the swamp.

Dagger/Knife.

A knife is a very fast weapon and starts to show its power when you develop some sneaking skills and can sneak up on strong targets and strike quietly. However, most knives face the same problem as other hybrid weapons in the game, as damage is spread evenly. In other words, they face the same problems as other hybrid weapons in the game. The knives have a small scale and need upgraded weapons and disguise to reach their full potential. This problem is solved by filling the category of weapons with daggers. Daggers shift the type of damage toward the piercing, providing a constant experience for all stealth archers. But more importantly, it makes them more powerful against targets you want to attack covertly.

Bronze dagger

Iron Dagger

Silver Dagger

Rogue Dagger (2H Bronze Dagger)

Runic Dagger (2H Iron Dagger)

Blackguard Runic Dagger (2H Silver Dagger)

 * Note: 2H Dagger floats in front of wall mount item due to separate style fastening. It is displayed normally on the item stand.

Adding a 2H dagger to the lower tier allows the player to concentrate on the game style until the end of the game.

Configuration.

The in-game mode configuration interface provided by BepinEx allows you to perform all additional settings.

All other settings are contained in the configuration file at /BepInEx/config/com.jotunn.ValheimArmory.cfg.

Note that most of the configuration is done on the server side. This means that you must restart the game to activate them. This ensures that the server and client always synchronize all details, such as how much damage you have done to Glade Warf.
