About This Mod

Reduces fog density and bad weather. The weather is (almost) fully customizable in the configuration file.

The weather in Valheim is very good, but very thick fog and blizzards sometimes irritate and even cause headaches when trying for hours to consider obstacles. There are mods that turn off fog and rain, but I don't know of any mods that can be customized. So far.

When booting with the default configuration, the mod does the following

- slightly increases the probability of sunny weather and reduces the probability of bad weather. Bad weather is accompanied by wind, so the sea is excluded. Biomes with the same weather - Swamp, Misty Land and Ashes - are also clearly excluded.

- Reduce the density of "foggy" air used in grasslands (rarely), Plains and Oceans.

Configuration option (config/WeatherTweaks.cfg):

- NEW: Add extra weather to mistland without fog after defeating the boss (must be included in config: mistland without mist after defeating boss = true).

Turn on the option "Make mistland without fog after defeating the boss". If you do this, after defeating the boss in a foggy country, "sunny" weather will be added, worthy of the name, with the same weight as vanilla weather without rain. In other words, no superfog, light and cloudless.

Weight 'Mistlands_Mistlands_very_clear' can be set to a value other than zero. In this case, you get the same thing as in the case of the unit.

You can do both: set the new weather to take effect only after defeating the boss, but you can change the weather details as you wish.

- NEW: Added the ability to add more weather types for any biome (Extra Weather in Configuration).

- The weight of each biome and each possible environment in it can now be given at random. This includes shutting down the medium by setting its weight to zero.

- Each environment (can be used in multiple biomes as defined in the base game):

  - Fog density. Valheim divides this parameter into four categories depending on the time of day. Reasonable values range from 0.003 (clear) to 0.15 (very foggy); 1 means you can't see anything; 2 means you can't see anything; 3 means you can't see anything; 4 means you can't see anything.

  - Intensity of light. It is divided into day and night.

  - Visibility of rain clouds.

  - The angle of the sun. It is usually used in Valheim to obtain low sun in the deep north.

  - Wind speed: minimum and maximum.

  - Boolevo:

    'It's always dark.

    - It is cold (always and only at night).

    - Freezes (always and only at night).

    - Wet.

    · The particle system is only active outdoors.

"In addition, the amount of fog can be changed globally using a multiplier.

- The default values for unmodified parameters are specified in the configuration file comments.

- If you want to start with a clean vanilla configuration and change it yourself, delete the configuration file and start the game (including the intro). This will create a configuration file with vanilla values.

- The "weathertweaks reload" console command can be used to load modified configurations even during the game.

- When you use the Configuration Manager, most settings are applied and saved in the configuration only after you use the weathertweaks apply console command.

The particulate system settings can be quite complex and cannot be changed at this time. However, you can disable a particle system you don't like by using the scales of that environment. In practice, the particle system will cause light fog. They are not affected by the adjustment of fog density.

Installation: just unpack to the BepInEx directory. Obviously, you need BepInEx.
