Crescent World calls for a better continent
A vast crescent-shaped continent on which to build a timeless Viking empire.
We had no idea that Valheim was Odin's lost eye. Travel through time and space on this majestic rainbow sphere.
This world map is designed to keep the main direction of the game. You must travel.
Biomes are arranged hierarchically to simulate the passing of maps in classic role-playing games. The most complex content is farthest from the starting point or is protected by a relief.

Post Cataclysm Version 0.01
The world has experienced several major upheavals, resulting in more islands, more rivers, a split land, higher mountains, more swamps, hand-picked bosses' sleeping sites, and more.
This is a new map file, and if you want to keep playing on the old map, that doesn't mean you're leaving this world. There are new things here, and plenty of reasons to start fresh.

Version 1.00 is a compilation of what we learned when creating this map and several others (a world map mod pack is coming soon).
I used to use the override command, but this was done to align the elevation map and did not take advantage of the terrain system depending on the biome.
The careful use of the convenient gray image allowed me to combine my features correctly with the built-in settings.
The coastline has also been redesigned once again to make it more interesting and diverse.
One commentator suggested adding more rivers. We took the opportunity to separate rivers and land to create more mobile waterways.
The biomes map was reworked and the amount of ash was increased. We have also reviewed the stratification of problem biomes.
We are quite happy with this version. It differs from version 0.05, so those who like a smoother terrain may want to continue using this version.
Further changes are unlikely. Expect to be reissued with a multi-world map package.

Version 0.05 adds high-quality terrain deformation based on erosion to other regions.
The plateaus were reduced and the waviness increased.
New islands were added.
The mountains gained several levels during the adventure.
The original grasslands remained smooth to facilitate movement in the first few coastal areas.
This is the final candidate version. If you are having trouble changing the height map, continue using version 0.05.

Version 0.04 was revised to bring the marshes closer to sea level. In many parts of the map, more subtle erosion detail was added, and more recognizable terrain features were added, including some flat beaches and low-lying coastal areas.
The reason for returning to the 4K map is that the larger size makes the coastline smoother and merges biomes. At least on this map.

Version 0.03 adds a more logical organization of biomes and a more natural shape biomes map.
The biomes and altitude maps are 2048x2048. Previously, height maps were 4k in size and biomes were 1k in texture.
The locations of merchants and bosses have become more complex.
The shape of the terrain has become more effective.

Version 0.02 attempted to increase the slope in many areas, but without much success.
New areas of land have appeared in the inland sea.
Minor changes were also made to the organization of biomes and the number of trees in plains and grasslands.
