About This Mod

The Raven uses Quest Framework to allow Hookin to give random or specially generated quests to search, kill, and build.

This mod uses Quest Framework to allow Hookin to give quests; see also Haldor Quests.

By default, Hugin offers random quests for prey, murder, and construction with gold based on the value of items, HP creatures, and the resource cost of parts of the building.

Please note that most of the items in the vanilla game have no intrinsic value - if you are going to use the random quest generation built into this mod, it is highly recommended to use the Better Trader mod. If Better Trader is installed, this mod will attempt to retrieve item and resource values from the mod configuration.

Custom job.

You can use this mod as a basis to create your own missions with special rewards that Hugin offers instead of casual.

The following types of jobs are available

Bring

Kill

Build

The award can be of any type.

Quests are json objects, either a) a single quest in a single file, or b) multiple quests in a single object per line file (not exactly a json file, since it does not contain commas). The file can have an arbitrary name and must be placed in a folder named BepInExplugins\HuginQuestFramework\Quests.

The format of the quests is as follows:

{

  'ID': 'Build3Wards',

  «questName": „Warden“,

  «stageName": „Build3Wards“.

  "stageDesc": "Hugin will award you {rewardAmount} with black metal",

  "objectiveName": "Progress: {Progress}/3",

  «type": 2,.

  «thing": „guard_stone“,

  «amount": 3, «rewardAmount».

  «rewardAmount": 3, 'rewardName': 'rewardName': 'rewardName': 'rewardName': 'rewardName': 'rewardName': 'rewardName': 'rewardName': 'rewardName': 'rewardName': 'rewardName': 'rewardName': 'rewardName'.

  rewardName": «Black Metal».

}

The ID can be any that is specific to the task.

The type must be 0 for Pick jobs, 1 for Kill jobs, and 2 for Build jobs.

thing and rewardName must be the names of the spawns of the corresponding items.

If amount is omitted, the mode configuration range is used and rewardAmount is multiplied by the number.

Configuration.

The configuration file BepInEx/config/aedenthorn.HuginQuestFramework.cfg is created when you start a game with this mode.

You can edit this file using a text editor or set the configuration values in the game using the Configuration Manager.
