There are tutorials on sailing, but keep in mind that these are the only options and do not need to follow them, you can place sails, crests and ropes at your discretion.

Also, if you're wondering why the ship's hull/hub is missing, it's done in a way that supports frame rate and performance, gets more design details = less frames per second/more delay, and you still won't be able to use the ship's capture. If we get a mod/update that somehow prevents water from getting in, I'll update and add an alternative for those who want to keep the ship
Options such as ship anchors and lanes/logos/sail patterns are currently under development, please wait patiently for the fixes, I will update them when they are fixed. And I know the water's gone inside the ship, and there's nothing I can do about it. Or to counter this, you can raise the floor inside the ship or put the ship a little higher Tuesday than the raft
