About This Mod

I recreated the world of Azeroth from Warcraft using Better Continents fashion.

I tried to recreate the world of Azeroth from World of Warcraft, but I wanted to keep a realistic scale, so I decided to sacrifice some regions. The eastern kingdom has a height of about 19.8 km, and this place should be about the same height!

The world is very big, and the mountains are very high.

However, now it seems even bigger than in the original, so we made a slightly scaled-down version to get closer to the sensations of moving from place to place in the WoW, so that both continents fit well on the map.

In the new version, the relief is improved, it is closer to the familiar, and it will be even higher mountains.

A new smaller version will appear in the game called AzerothS.

A smaller version was created to better capture the scale of WoW and make regions as remote as they appear in WoW. In addition, the slopes have become slightly steeper and generally more recognizable. This allowed us to accommodate two whole continents - Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdom.

We cleared the forest from the natural path around the starting area all the way to Stormwind, and now the player has to expand it.

In the reduced version, the black forest near Goldshire seems cleared, but feel free to plant new trees!

Between continents we have added several islands that can be explored by sea, but they are entirely original and not copies of existing continents. Other continents are too big to fit in between.

Please enjoy it.

Be sure to download the latest version of BetterContinents.

You need the latest version of BetterContinents to play on this map!

Server Configuration

Back up worlds and characters

Make sure you have the latest version of Better Continents (including dependencies) installed.

Download this world and save it.

Open it in the right place.

Shut down the server.

Make sure that "modes" are enabled on the server. How to do this depends on your provider. Your ISP's documentation should contain instructions; if you have full access to FTP, you may need to install BepInEx and configure it for use on your server (see your BepInEx Valheim documentation).

Download the World file to the server. Manually, through a website, or via FTP.

Upload the Better Continents dll from the mod to the server. Place it in the BepInExplugins directory just as you would on the client.

Configure the server to use this world.

When you start the server, it should start in Azeroth.

All clients must have the same version of Better Continents (BetterContinents.dll) as the server; the configuration settings in Better Continents do not affect previously created worlds, so you do not need to worry about this. When you connect to the server, the client passes the world configuration and checks the world version (starting with version 0.4.3).

You can connect to servers that don't use mods, or to worlds that don't use mods.
