About This Mod

It automates opening and closing doors, repairing cards, filling stoves and fires, and storing the results of processing mechanisms such as windmills and spinning mills. All of these features exist in existing mods, but I've redesigned them to make them more user-friendly.

Automation.

[Notes.]

This mod was developed by an individual and has nothing to do with the game's developer. Please refrain from asking questions to the developer.

This mod was only designed for single-player play. Note that it does not support running on the server.

[What is Automation?]

It's a mod that automates tasks that seem a bit tiring on a daily basis. All the features of this mod are in existing mods, but I have redesigned it to make it easier to use.

[How to install.]

Simply download and activate Automatics by Vortex.

Features.

TIP: Each of the following functions can be disabled completely by using the "Disable Module" option in the configuration.

* Automatic doors.

Automatically opens and closes the doors adjacent to the player.

* Automatic display.

Automatic display of various objects around the player, such as animals, monsters, flora, veins, dungeons, etc.

* Custom icon packs.

You can also set your own icons in png or json files. See the documentation for the specifications of the custom icon packages.

* Automatic processing.

Automate tasks such as fueling fires and torches, storing items in containers made by processors such as windmills and spinning mills, loading food into cooking and stoves, and more.

* Automatic feeding.

Modifies tame creatures so they can eat food from the player's containers and inventory, as well as items on the ground.

* Automatic repair.

Automatically repairs items when the player is near a craft station or when the craft station's graphical interface opens, or automatically repairs nearby debris if the player has a hammer.

* Automatic mining.

Automatically extracts minerals in the player's neighborhood. You can add a quick access key to retrieve at any time.

* Automatic selection of subjects.

Automatically picks up items in the player's environment. You can add a shortcut key to search the environment for the same items as the interacting item and pick them all.

[Console Commands].

Automatically adds some commands.

See GitHub for more information.

[Configuration].

It is recommended that you use a configuration manager. Converting a huge number of items to Nexus format can be very tedious, see CONFIG.adoc on GitHub for more information. You can also find more information in the Configuration Manager tooltip.

[Additional information.]

* Mapping by "display name" and "internal name".

Some automation features have options that allow the user to add targets as needed. The display name and internal name are used to identify these targets. Display and internal names are mapped according to different rules.

** Display name.

Display names are names that occur in the game, such as wild boar, deer, dandelion, and so on. The matching rule for Display Name is a partial match that is executed if the target display name contains the specified string. It is not case sensitive.

** Internal name.

Internal names are names used inside the game program, such as $enemy_boar, $enemy_deer, $item_dandelion, and so on. Match rule for "internal names" - exact match. This means that if the target internal name matches the specified string, it will match. This rule is case-insensitive. Note that the internal name of the translation added by Automation is prefixed with @, not $, as in @internal_name.

Target data:

|=================================|

|Display name|Internal name.

|--------------|------------------|

| $enemy_greydwarf

| $enemy_surtling | $enemy_surtling

| $enemy_surtling | $enemy_surtling | $enemy_surtling

Search results:
