FS Italian Binary Package

Mod "Italian catenas", a basic package of catenas covering all epochs of the game. IMPORTANT: DomTrain Italian Catenarias mod must be activated.

The package has 9 tracks and they are made with a more accurate model of rails, with relative sleepers; 6 of these tracks have their own catenariums.

Given the large number of tracks, they were divided into several categories. The two macro categories are:

- mod (highlighted in red)

- normal.

The Moddabile (mod) path does not have distribution boxes and bumpers; in the case of an electrified path, it also does not have poles for the catenary poles: this allows the correct construction of the catenary network at large stations (and avoids the problem of poles in the middle of the path).

Ordinary paths are built exactly the same as ordinary paths.

These macrocategories, in turn, are divided into different subcategories related to the set speed limit:

- 30 km/h

- 60 km/h

- 100 km/h

- 160 km/h

Path types:

- From 1850 to 1900 - a rail track with rails fixed by nails on wooden sleepers. 100 km/h Vmax

- Since 1900 - rails fastened through plates and bolts to sleepers (dirty); great for secondary lines. This track replaces the previous one and has its own catenary rail (old type FS). 100 km/h Vmax

- Since 1900, the track with rails fixed through plates and double bolts to sleepers. Old FS type katun. 140 km/h Vmax

- Since 1950, the track with rails fixed through plates and double bolts to sleepers (in concrete). Standard catenar FS on poles M. 160 km/h Vmax. As of 2014, it has a white-rail version.

- From 1960 to 2000, the track with rails fixed through plates and double bolts to sleepers (in concrete). Standard FS hanging path on LS posts. 200 km/h Vmax

- Since 1970, the track with rails fixed through pandrolls on concrete sleepers. Catenarian path FS type Direttissima Rome-Florence. 250 km/h Vmax

- Since 1990, the track with rails secured by Vossloh attachments on concrete sleepers. Catenary path type FS AV 25Kv. 300 km/h Vmax. Version with white rails since 2014.

- Since 1995, the track with rails fixed through Vossloh attachments on concrete sleepers. An elevated catenar type FS Direttissima, but on single LS posts, as on the Torino - Bardonecchia line. Vmax 170 km/h

- Since 2005 - track with rails secured by vossloh joints on concrete sleepers. Catenary network of FS type with OMNIA type suspension. Vmax 200 km/h As of 2014, it has a white-rail version.
