E259 N'EX (Narita Express)This is a express train
, which run between Narita International Airport (NRT) and many suburban cities in Tokyo, especially for foreign tourists. Prior to 2009, the old 253 series trains were used, but they were built as new models to replace them.
E657 Hitachi Express
It is an express service that runs between Tokyo and the coastal areas of Ibaraki, Fukushima, and Miyagi Prefectures. This area is an area of pure AC power, so performance can be both DC and AC. In addition, in 2020, an area damaged by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake was rebuilt and an additional 10 x2 vehicles were added to the fleet accordingly.
E353 Azusa Express
It is used as an express train connecting Shinjuku Terminal in Tokyo with Yamanashi and Nagano Prefectures. It debuted in 2017, replacing the older E351 and E257 train. The name of the train "Azusa" is taken from the name of the river flowing along the route.
