About This Mod
Description: Recovers some cut/missed/incorrect icons for various items in your inventory. The most obvious change can be seen on all the shoes you purchase throughout the game. In addition, icons of several gloves and several weapons were also given the correct look.
Rationale: You may wonder why you need this mod at all, because the original works just fine. This is only partly true. The original version does work, but the editable files contain information for many other items in the game. If you use the original version of this fashion, all your witch gear, other armor, and some weapons will not be updated to version 4.0+. The CDPR made quite a few changes to the stats of the witch's wargear, changed many scabbards used by various weapons, and implemented quite a few tweaks to the animation switches that are defined in the same files. In short, you need to use the updated version, since it was created from scratch, using as a basis the assets of Next Gen files, rather than the classic files 1.30-1.32.
Installation: Installs very simple, like any other mod, nothing special. It is installed in the .../Witcher 3/mods/ folder. Be sure to start Script Merger. If you have other mods that edit weapons and armor, a conflict may occur. Don't worry, as this mod can be easily merged with other mods that also edit the same files. This mod only edits certain icon values, nothing else. Everything else in the file can be edited by other mods and automatically merged using Script Merge.
Uninstall: remove the modRestoredIcons_NextGen folder from the .../Witcher 3/mods/ directory
