Loading screen. Removal Tips
About This Mod
Frankly, you're here watching fashion, which means you're already a veteran of the game at the moment.
But even a brand new player can master the game and achieve good results without having to see these tips on the boot screen.
This mod does 2 things:
- Completely removes all prompts on the boot screen. (Read the sticks.)
- (Optional file): It also removes images from the boot screen.
Select one of the main files (read their description). You can also download and install an additional file along with one of the mail files.
- Set to "Witcher 3 Game Directory"\mods
- POOF, the boot screen prompts are gone!
- Optional, but highly recommended step: Open your "Documents\The Witcher 3\user.settings" file and look for the following line (strings):
[LoadingScreen/TCR]
ShowProgress=true
Change the above value to ShowProgress=false
The above tweak turns off the progress bar you see on the download screen, making it slightly cleaner.
If your user.settings file does not contain such a string, add it manually at the bottom of the document.
You can also use: Disable video clips in the storybook to get even cleaner. Download it if you don't have it yet!
