About This Mod
This mod allows you to access the main and in-game menus more easily and quickly than in vanilla, especially for controller users.
Changes compared to vanilla:
"Mods" was added to the main menu and replaced with "Resume" in the game menu.
Moved Gameplay and Video to the top of Options.
Hides the "Fashions" item and the "Installed DLC" item in Options. (Installed DLCs are simply a list that you can read and have no effect on the DLCs you have installed.)
Added a "DLC" entry to the top of the "Gameplay" entry in the main menu so that any DLC can be easily turned on/off. (And removed them from "Gameplay").
KNOWN LIMITATIONS:
It takes 2 clicks (Mods -> Mods ->...) to show your mods. This is NOT a mistake. I haven't figured out how to do 1 click perfectly yet. I will update this mod in the future, if I bring it to perfection.
Installation:
Validated on Witcher 3 GOG GOTY NextGen (v4.04).
Remove any older versions of this mod, if any, that were installed. (The old version was called modFasterModMenu.)
Extract the archive into the Witcher 3 software root folder. (Or move modFasterEssentialMenu to the mods folder.)
Use Script Merger to merge all conflicts.
Use Menu Filelist Updater (recommended) or manually add your xml mod to Witcher3\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\dx11filelist.txt and dx12filelist.txt. Otherwise, they will be empty in the Mods menu.
