About This Mod
Book Covers Skyrim is a high-quality retexture of all the books, magazines and notes you read in vanilla Skyrim and all three DLCs. It gives each book and magazine its own unique cover and adds many additional styles of note paper. The mod includes spell volumes with optimized meshes and replacement textures for each school. All spells of a given school have the same texture. Treasure maps are hand-drawn and Dragonstone grouting is also included.
To distinguish skill books from other books, a star is added to the spine of the book.

LOAD ORDER:
- Book Covers Skyrim is registered in LOOT, which should sort it to the right place in your boot order. Put the sort mode above Books Covers Skyrim and the compatibility patches below.
INSTALLATION:
- BAIN/FOMOD: Use Wrye Bash or NMM to install the mod.
- Instructions: Unzip the downloaded file using 7ZIP and move the Book Covers Skyrim.esp, Book Covers Skyrim.bsa and Book Covers Skyrim - Textures.bsa files to the Skyrim/Data directory and activate the ESP file.
UNINSTALL:
- BAIN/FOMOD: Use Wrye Bash or NMM to remove mod.
- Manual: Remove the Book Covers Skyrim.esp, Book Covers Skyrim.bsa, and Book Covers Skyrim - Textures.bsa files from the Skyrim/Data directory.
