About This Mod

Vanilla Anomaly Expanded - Sanity introduces a new game mechanic based on the Sanity system, similar to Sanity in other video games, which reflects the characters' mental and emotional attitude towards human issues. This is because low levels may not meet human priorities and may ultimately lead to dehumanizing behaviors.


Over time, people become more aware of the consequences of their behavior, and it can be difficult to reverse the changes that result from these consequences. Whether you choose to fight evil beings to regain your mind, or study them to exhaust your mind, you will see the horrors that can occur as a result.


With a change in the level of common sense occur various events, social interactions and mental states, which gives more opportunities for role-playing. Characters with a low level of sanity can go insane and behave in a destructive way, but they can also become inhuman - which is not necessarily a bad thing. At worst, you can try to humanize them!


The common sense that this fashion adds is not related to the mood or emotional state of the settler. It has nothing to do with the loss of family members, a pasty diet without food, mental disorders, etc. Reason reflects the effects of emptiness and is lost only if one looks at that fear for too long. Reason is a strategic resource that takes years to drain and years to replenish, but watch it and act accordingly if you see that reason is rapidly diminishing.
