About This Mod

Welcome to RimCuisine 2. This mod is designed to add new crops and kinds of food, while pawns suffer terribly in Rimwprld. The mod was completely redesigned from scratch to provide better mod compatibility and overall performance, as well as to fix the problems found in the first version.

In general, the mod is vanilla and designed to fit seamlessly into the normal gameplay. A secondary objective of the fashion was to improve tribal and caravan play by adding several ways to store food without the use of cold temperatures or cutting-edge technology.

New crops: More than 40 new crops and fruit trees, from tomatoes and onions to sorghum, quinoa, grapes, cherries, pecans and durian. Also, all new crops can only be grown in certain biomes. While vanilla and some exceptional crops (such as wheat, cabbage and onions) can be grown in any biome, most crops require more than one biome. For example, sugarcane and bananas can only be grown in tropical biomes; agave, cactus and coffee can only be grown in dry biomes; juniper berries can only be grown in cold biomes; and grapes can only be grown in temperate biomes. Moreover, these restrictions are ignored if the plants can be hydroponically grown. Try growing quinoa that prefers tropical climate, hydroponic way in boreal forests.

A new menu: mass-produced chauds, sweet cakes and cakes, coffee, tea and, of course, duck hart. The sweets themselves set the mood, and coffee and tea serve as a source of caffeine for the pawns, increasing their productivity, learning ability, and anxiety. Hooray, caffeine-induced panic attacks.

New food categories: All foods are now divided into five major food groups: meat, cereals, vegetables, fruits and confectionery, and raw and processed foods. Processed foods, such as dried fruits, meat and canned foods, can be used in recipes the same way as raw ones, but take up more space and weigh less. All vanilla recipes have been updated to use these new categories.

New traders Introducing you to agricultural traders. They sell mainly cereals and livestock, so you can import crops that can't be grown locally or buy the cattle needed to produce good food. There is another trader, but you will have to find it yourself.

Changes to existing items: No. No. Lie. There are several changes in categories and display of inventory. All of them have been changed to avoid problems. Also, some old techniques have been renamed and moved to the RimCuisine tree, but otherwise (for compatibility) their definitions have not changed. Pemmikan is now "Basic Conservation Techniques" and the food for survival is "Intermediate Conservation Techniques." The plantations are now "Basic Forestry" and the cocoa trees are "Advanced Forestry" Unlike RimCuisine 1, the healing route has remained intact.

The mod is almost complete, but we will use you as test subjects for bug fixes, inflections and balance of functionality. If you find something strange or not working, let me know, and I'll fix it.

Patch Notes:

-Fixing the beer.

-Coffee and tea can now be grown hydroponically, but this requires higher technology and yields lower yields than growing on soil.

-Added intermediate and advanced cooking in the starting classic.

-Fixed a lot of descriptions. In particular, the outdated description of RimCuisine 1 was used in the technical description. -Houses now need only basic kitchen.

Sorghum can now be processed correctly.

Compatibility:

Rim Cuisine 2 is not intended for use with Dismal's Vegetable Garden or Toby's Realistic Farming. LIMU CUISINE 2 is not intended for use with Dizmar's Vegetable Garden or Toby's Realistic Farming. I am not responsible for any problems that may arise when sharing.

However, RimCuisine 2 seems to be compatible with VGP Core, and Diesmar and I discussed compatibility and agreed that our mods are too big to be completely patched. However, the two fashions overlap in many ways, and those who insist on using both will find duplicate items and see that materials from one fashion cannot be used in some or all of the other's recipes. Use both fashions together at your own risk. Don't say we didn't warn you.

RimCuisine 2 is technically compatible with existing saves, but use the new one for better quality. If you use an existing save, new wild crops will appear longer, you will have to change your inventory, change your existing account, change the number of pawns and you will not be able to use free technology. However, once this stage is overcome, everything will be fine.
