About This Mod

The world is creating a page of the world has been changed.

First, instead of choosing 30%, 50%, or 100%, you can choose "coverage" in the range of 5% to 100%.

Second, there's a new sea mirror that determines the extent of the sea cover in your world. From a world of water with few small continents to barren rocks without surface water.

The total amount of precipitation on the planet depends on the sea level, so the slope of the "precipitation" has become larger relative to the absolute environment. Ultimately, "high" rainfall on dry planets is much lower than "low" rainfall on giant ocean planets.

Moreover, the "temperature" setting is "stretched," making cool planets cooler than vanilla, while hot planets are becoming more than 15 degrees Celsius at the edge of the scale.

There is also an "axial trend" setting. Planets with a higher axial trend have more extreme seasonal temperature shifts. (For now, at least, changes in axial trends do not change the base cycle with dayin-game nights.)

Maud also adds a variety of "world type" options to choose from. These are just links to many slider settings designed for quick and easy creation of planets characterized mainly by specific biomes.

Finally, the Reset button at the bottom of the screen was replaced with the Random Planet button. This button instantly generates a randomly selected world with randomly selected sea levels, rainfall, and temperatures. (However, this does not change the settings you have selected, as it may affect the performance of the game.)
