About This Mod

Wise Drug Choices and Uses


Reserve drugs: Doctors use drugs from a patient's or someone else's stock.

Stock up on drugs: Doctors can carry a certain amount of drugs with them at all times. They can also replenish their drug inventory with the "Use" button. No stocks are made during the treatment (the button on the "Equipment" tab in the colonist's inventory sets the amount of medicines).

Minimal emergency medical care is (eg, bruising) Bleeding, infection, or scar injuries are emergencies and require quality treatment.

Patients can be treated anywhere, even when there is no spare bed.

The best drug for surgery: an option next to the medical settings, allowing you to use the best drug for surgery regardless of other settings.

Individual treatment for each injury: Right-click the injury in the list and select the medicine to use for that injury. Note that, because injuries are treated in groups, setting the value to a low value does not mean "never use the best", but rather "don't bother using the best for a little old man - but if you need something else, I use that too" (note that this effect is loaded and is not permanent afterwards).
