About This Mod
Vanilla faction-Insectoids2 extension mod
The VFE-Insectoids2 is a continuation of the very popular Vanilla faction-Insectoids extension, which developed and improved the mechanics that made the original mod interesting. This new version includes several large-scale new mechanics that will greatly diversify the interaction of insects with their hives.
- Challenge and fight new bosses: Prepare to fight a formidable insect boss. Explore and create pulse lures to summon them and test your combat training!
- Create and manage your own hive. Have you ever wanted your own insect hive? Now you can! Collect resources, breed new insect species, and create an active herd of huge (and not very) insects.
- New buildings and defensive structures: from the unique walls that only your insects can build, to the defensive structures that protect your settlements.
- Dynamic combat missions: Prepare for unexpected raids and battles. Maud changes the insect attack process and turns every insect battle into a unique challenge.
- Exciting tasks and events in the world: Participate in new tasks and events related to the insect invasion. Whether it's protecting the herd or creating it, it won't be boring!
- Research and Innovation: Discover new technologies and insights with research projects that give you added value.
In this remaster, we excluded those that do not fit the subject, such as plasma weapons, archeological artifacts, and the creation of new modified insects. If possible, these mechanisms will be restored using other modes.
