About This Mod
Save Maps is a mod that allows you to save maps at any time and download them to any save location at any time.
You can access your saved drawings from the developer menu.
Features.
Save Maps saves the map drawings in the game settings file, so they cannot be touched or modified in Steam Workshop. Card files are not lost when you update the Workshop or deregister.
Loaded drawings will be added by mods to any map where ore is usually found, even if the drawings are stored in the vanilla world of Rome. This means that the stored maps are protected for the future in terms of ore generation.
Save Maps automatically resizes the map so that no bizarre things happen when loading. For example, if the saved map is 500x500, but you forgot to resize it with 200x200 before boarding.
If you don't want to save the entire map, but are very tied to a particular database created, Save Maps allows you to save all the buildings placed by the player in the home zone and import them to another map.
Save Maps saves all items on the map along with the map itself. This means that if you save the database and upload it to another repository, all items and resources purchased will be the same as when you save.
If desired, Save Maps can keep the settlers along with the map.
If you just want to save the untouched map and replay it in another save with other settlers and a different storyline, that's also possible.
Saved maps can be found in the following locations:

To use the Save Maps feature, you must first activate Developer Mode from the Options menu.
In the developer menu there is a new category called "Save Maps".
Save All:
This option saves the map with everything, including objects and colonists, as a drawing to load.
Save all without colonists:
This option saves the map and everything, including items, but excluding colonists, as a drawing to load.
Save in home zone with colonists:
This option saves all buildings created in the home zone as drawings that can be transferred to another map. Colonists also persist.
Save in home zone without colonists:
This option saves all buildings created in the home zone as drawings that can be moved to another map. Colonists are not preserved.
Load drawing:
This option loads the saved drawing and transfers all objects and colonists to a new map.
Load Blueprint (override):
This option loads the saved drawing, but does not transfer anything from the current map to the loaded one.
Load Blueprint (override except colonists):
This option loads the saved drawings and transfers only the colonists to the new map.
