About This Mod

This mod adds "Pelican", a light transport plane used by Helle divers


Pelican Shuttles are inclined single-stage vehicles (SSTOs) to orbit with a medium-caliber automatic cannon (exact shot unknown) mounted under the cockpit. The vertical takeoff and landing of the pelicans is restricted only because of the chassis design. In addition, heavy loads (such as fuel tanks and patriot exoskeletons) can be attached to the bottom of the shuttle for transportation.


Although the Pelican shuttle engine looks like a conventional jet engine, it clearly can operate in both atmosphere and vacuum, suggesting that it is actually some advanced rocket engine, a combined cycle engine (including both breathing mode and closed-loop operation). Or a nuclear heat engine. Whatever type of engine, it has to be incredibly efficient. The shuttle is designed to use a very small amount of fuel (at least a very small amount of fuel compared to what could be expected from a single spacecraft orbiting a single nation).
