About This Mod

AutoInstaller is a simple plugin for Mod Organizer 2, designed to optimize the installation process by automatically calling the quick install window or FOMOD after downloading a mod (via the handling of Nexus links in Mod Organizer 2).

Background

During the manual installation of Nolvus's "Environment" section (I only needed the look and feel, not the gameplay), I found it quite inconvenient to individually click on each loaded mod to install. Although I finally got through with the task, I realized there had to be an easier way. Having not found anything suitable, I developed this plugin.

Features

  • Quickly start Quick Install/FOMOD as soon as the download is complete.
  • Queue of several mods.
  • Turn the feature on/off with just two mouse clicks.

Features

This plugin instructs MO2 to start installing mods as soon as the download is complete. It determines the order of installation depending on which mod booted first, rather than in the order in which they were launched. It handles single and batch downloads without problems. If multiple mods are loaded at the same time, he queues them and prompts them to install the next one after the current one is finished. Thus, subsequent FOMOD or Quick Install windows will appear automatically.

This plugin will not compete with the Quick Install or FOMOD process, you will still need to click "OK" or "Install" (this is needed so that you can change the name before installing and change the FOMOD settings). This will not automatically install mods manually downloaded from Nexus and will not detect when you manually add mods to the MO2 download folder. (If you are looking for a similar feature, try my InstallMultipleMods plugin.)

You can enable or disable the plugin via the Tools icon drop-down menu by selecting "AutoInstaller". The color of the circle indicates whether AutoInstaller is active.
