About This Mod

To use the tool:

  • Download it with Mod Organizer to get a metafile that Wabbajack can install for you (or use the metafile provided in downloads).
  • Extract the executable to the Mod Organizer directory.
  • Configure SetupSteps.json to cover all post-installation steps.
  • When creating a list of Wabbajack modifications, be sure to include the SetupSteps.json file.
  • Ask users to run the executable and follow the instructions before running Mod Organizer.


SetupSteps.json

  • Title = the name of the current step.
  • Description = description or instructions for the user to perform the current step.
  • ApplicationPath = the path to the application to run, if applicable. (can be used to run batch files)
  • ApplicationArgs = list of command line arguments for the application to run, if applicable.
  • SourcePath = the source path for any copy activity; if the field is blank, a dialog box appears to select a folder or file.
  • TargetPath = the destination path for any copy or delete action, if applicable.
  • StepType = step type; see below for options.
  • DelaySeconds = the number of seconds this step must be visible before the Continue button becomes available.
  • Wait = true or false depending on whether this step should wait for the application to close before continuing.


All paths are relative to the MO2 base directory where the executable should be located.

  • 0 - Information
  • 1 - Launch the application
  • 2 - Copy Folder
  • 3 - Copy File
  • 4 - Delete Folder
  • 5 - Delete File
  • 6 - Restart as administrator
